I’ll be honest I never smelled the original that this is a dupe of. I saw the original had mostly good reviews and I was looking for a Violet scent to try. I’ve shopped here before so I know the quality is always amazing. But this scent is not for me. At first I instantly can smell a powdery Violet but then it turns really quickly into something very very musty, almost like mothballs (to my nose). I let it dry down, the musty aroma has calmed a little but my nose still detects it. Maybe I need to let this settle? Did I get a bad batch? Not sure. I’m sad this didn’t work out for me. Longevity and sillage is strong though.
